| Submit an abstract for a chance to win a cash prize of $300 and an excellent boost for your CV! Submissions Email abstracts no later than Friday 4 October 2024 to the PAnaesthesia Coordinator. Finalists will be advised and offered a presentation spot by Friday 12 October 2024. Entrants not shortlisted for presentation will be offered the opportunity to upload an e-poster to the conference app. ePosters will need to be submitted no later than Wednesday 23 October 2024. Entrance Guidelines > Final year Medical Student, Intern, or Resident registered to attend the conference. > Must have made a significant contribution to the project. > Submit an original 300-word (maximum) abstract detailing a recent anaesthetic or perioperative research/quality assurance/improvement project. > Abstract to be formatted with headings: Introduction, Method, Results, Conclusion. > Full study outlines must be available at the time of submission; abstracts stating “results to be presented” will not be considered. Shortlisting Entries will be shortlisted by the PMA Panel and finalists contacted to present live at the conference. Finalist Presentations Session 2, 10.30am Saturday 26 October 2024 Translational Research Institute, PA Hospital campus 10-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. Time limits will be strictly enforced to ensure we allow ample presentation time for all applicants.
